We started our second day in Iceland with a short drive out of Reykjavik to Brúarfoss. Located along the "golden circle" driving route, this is a slightly less visited waterfall at the end of a 3.5km hike (each way). Along the hike there are 2 other falls: Hlauptungufoss and Midfoss. Parking for the hike is free, and although the trail is usually muddy, it's fairly easy otherwise and well worth the trip!
